Affordable Financing
We would like to make all of our office guidelines as clear as possible so please do not hesitate to ask any questions.
Dental care is an excellent investment in an individual’s well being. We are here to serve our patients and we feel that financial considerations should not be an obstacle to obtaining this valuable service. We are pleased to offer the following payment options.
Payment at Time of Service
Stiehl Dental does require payment in full for your portion at the time of service. We accept Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express cards as well as cash and personal checks.
Patients may earn a 5% off book keeping courtesy on their treatment plan over $2,500 if:
- The entire treatment plan is paid in full prior to the beginning of treatment.
- As a courtesy, we will still file your insurance for you for reimbursement.
Extended Payment Option
We offer no interest credit for 6 months through CareCredit. CareCredit enables you to finance 100% of your dental care with no money down, no interest, no upfront costs, and no prepayment penalties.
CareCredit can be used by the entire family for ongoing treatment without having to reapply. They offer a comprehensive range of options, for treatment or procedures from $1 to over $25,000. It only takes a few minutes to apply for CareCredit. To learn more about CareCredit, call 1-800-839-9078, or visit their website at www.CareCredit.com
Dental Insurance
If you have dental benefits, congratulations! You are very fortunate. Your dental benefits are based on a contract made between your employer and an insurance company. If you have any questions regarding your dental benefits, please contact your employer or insurance company directly. Dental benefits plans will never totally pay for completion of your dental care. It is only meant to assist you.
We currently accept all private care insurance plans (plans that do not require you to select a dentist from a list or require our office to accept a reduced fee for service). This means we work with literally thousands of companies. Although we maintain computerized histories of payment by a given company, they do change; therefore it is impossible to give you a guaranteed quote at the time of service. We estimate your portion based on the most up-to-date information we have, but is only an estimate.
Insurance companies are sometimes very difficult to deal with. As a matter of fact, many offices do not deal with them at all. In Georgia, insurance companies are required by law to provide payment within 15 days of receiving a claim. Your insurance claim will be sent the day that the services are rendered. We file your insurance claims as a courtesy for you. If your insurance company has not provided payment within 30 days, any unpaid balance becomes the patient’s responsibility. It is your responsibility to follow up on outstanding insurance claims. If the insurance company does not pay part, or any of the claim, the balance becomes the patient’s responsibilty.
Due to various problems we have encountered, we do not file secondary insurance but we will be happy to assist you with the forms.
If your insurance pays you directly, then you are responsible for your bill in full at the time of service.
